Who we are & what we’re doing

Andee and Kevin are the husband and wife duo that started Tight Knit Threads. Their goal is to create apparel that is thoughtfully designed, creatively distinct, affordable, and allows people to represent their school or community with pride. They want to grow this company into something that not only elevates the community and school apparel game, but also aims to enrich the community by active participation and giving back.

This team represents their community at countless arenas, fields, and courts following their kids around Minnesota. Both born and raised in the tight-knit community of Waseca, Minnesota, each bring a very different background and approach to this endeavor. Andee is a hairstylist by day and champion of her kids at night. Kevin has been in the design and marketing world for over 20 years and tries his best to keep up with Andee and the kids after hours.

Without a “brick and mortar” store, the current state of product production and shipping utilizes on-demand print services. This method takes a bit longer to get it in your hands, but allows us to spend more time designing, have tons of options, keep costs at a minimum, and get you quality goods at an affordable price.
